What's new
MyScript iink SDK 4.4 introduces several enhancements and refinements
When using our latest analyzer and/or math recognition engine (raw-content2 and/or math2 bundles):
- Improved recognition accuracy and overall performance, particularly for math expressions.
- Enhanced classification accuracy for text and math inputs, resulting in more reliable solved results with the Editor or OffscreenEditor.
- Notable improvements in math recognition, including better handling of division signs, π, trigonometric functions (such as arctan), and square root symbols, among other enhancements.
➤ To ensure you benefit from these improvements, update your libraries and the resources you use.
Other changes
- We have added a new
export.jiix.decimal-placesconfiguration that allows you to specify the maximum number of decimal places to be used after the decimal separator in JIIX exports. The default behavior won't change, no maximum value for the number of decimal places is set, but you can adjust this value to reduce the size of JIIX exports and optimize parsing. - Various additional fixes and stability improvements.
- Deprecation warning for CocoaPods: In preparation for the CocoaPods transition to maintenance mode , iink SDK will move to Swift Packages in a future release.
