MyScript Server Installation Preamble and Prerequisites
Preamble
Types of installation
MyScript's Handwriting Recognition servers can be installed in two ways:
- Monoserver installation enables quick testing of the software.
- Production installation is the way to install the servers in a production environment.
Server version
In this document you will see references to the latest version of MyScript's Interactive Ink recognition technology.
Content of the delivery
The delivery consists of a .zip archive.
Once you unzipped the archive (using the Extract to command of your explorator or the unzip <file> line command) your current directory should contain the following elements:
admin-serverdirectory contains the required elements to install the back-end and front-end of Myscript administration tools.fontsdirectory contains the fonts that can be used by MyScript ink recognition.iink-licensekeyis the directory where to put the MyScript iink recognition licensekey files that are delivered to you.iink-resourcesdirectory contains the resources for MyScript iink recognition.iink-serverdirectory contains the required elements to install the MyScript iink recognition backend.- The other directories and files are used by the Docker Compose test utility for a quick launch and test of your delivery of MyScript ink recognition in what we call a monoserver installation. Check the
README.txtfile that contains the account and key information to install and launch the iink web server and demo.
